Victoria In Her Attic

Victoria would LOVE to hear from you - it's gets very lonely up there in the Attic. She looks happy in this picture, but that's only because she was just fed - and from the looks of the glass she's holding, she must have just sold a piece and been rewarded (no water that night).

She really only has her dolls (and, I suppose, the occasional bird or stray mouse) to talk to most of the time. I can hear her up there jabbering away, but no one really knows exactly who to whom she is speaking. I have caught her replying to emails by speaking directly to the computer screen every once in a while, but those are rare instances and a little discipline goes a long way with Victoria. Rest assured, your emails will be answered.

Drop her a line. Make a request. Ask her a question. Do not, however, encourage her to leave the Attic - it would not be a good thing. I'd hate to have to start censoring her email.

Where broken and discarded jewelry comes to live again...

Victoria spends much of her time searching through boxes, trunks, bags, and other containers of jewelry up here in the Attic, looking for unique pieces that no one else wants! From these, she selects bits and snippets - sometimes whole baubles, sometimes not - and matches them with chain, ribbon, and other items to create totally new pieces of jewelry that bring both historic and artistic elegance to your wardrobe.

Now, don’t think Victoria does this out of love – there’s a reason she’s up in the Attic and not wandering around the rest of the house. I keep her locked up there. She’s toiling away in that stuffy and cramped space to create new pieces just for you. When you purchase one of her creations, she gets a special treat with her dinner. So remember – whenever you purchase an item, Victoria might just receive a candy or some other sweetmeat to complement her nightly fare of gruel and bread crusts. Be kind to Victoria!
